Shared bedrooms are fun and there are so many ways to make them work for 2 or more children. We’ve compiled a selection of gorgeous shared spaces on our Pinterest page – check them out for some fresh ideas and inspiration. Our tip – if your kids are old enough get them involved in decorating, zoning and organising their space. You might be pleasantly surprised at the ideas they come up with! We’d love to see your shared spaces – email us your pics.

There’s something lovely and comforting about having real, paper books in your home. They add warmth and texture and are so nice to hold and look at. These are some of my personal favourite child and family-focussed decorating books; I’ve sourced them for the shop so you can enjoy them too. You’ll find lots of beautiful images, ideas, how to’s and DIY’s.

Decorating doesn’t have to be daunting. Find a style which suits you and your lifestyle and work with what you have, make things, source key items you absolutely love, throw out what you don’t need or love and just enjoy your home. Have a lovely weekend x

This room tour caught our eye today – it features our popular Leander cot/toddler bed. Jasper is one lucky little guy and it’s no wonder he has such a stylish room – his Mum writes the blog Urban Kaleidoscope which features stories and some stunning images from her travels and interior decorating endeavours.

Our friends at lmnop recently published this article about Gillian Rose (who happens to supply our gorgeous Leander and Ollie & Lime furnishings) detailing some fabulous tips on how to get the popular Danish interiors look.

“The Scandinavian folk really know how to make a room look spacious, clean and charming,” says Gillian. “The key components are its clean lines and its inspiration from nature.” Here you can read Gillian’s six top tips for creating the perfect Scandinavian nursery including choosing colours, furniture, materials and de cluttering.
