Little Living Team Holidays: From 22 December 2011 returning 9 January 2012 - our shop is still available for purchasing online however orders will not be dispatched until 9 January 2012. You can still email us any enquiries and we will respond from 9 January.

Delivery Information

Little Living uses a combination of Courier and Australia Post Express Post Satchels for domestic orders. If you are not happy for any reason with the service provided by the delivery company used for your order please contactus@littleliving.com.au. 

Our products come in all sizes and shapes which can impact on the delivery method, cost and timeframe, depending on what and how much you order. Bulkier items such as furniture or custom made orders and orders of multiple items, may be sent by courier or Australia Post registered parcel post, depending on the size and/or value of the parcel/s. Furniture items often require a delivery quote as prices vary depending on your location in Australia. Please contact us to obtain a quote and include your delivery state and postcode in your email.

Our couriers delivering large and/or bulky items require a delivery address where someone can sign for delivery of goods. Unless you give us permission to "leave your order" we cannot leave large items unattended and a return delivery trip will attract additional costs from the courier. We will contact you prior to dispatch to confirm the day organised for delivery suits you. Australia Post will usually leave a “sorry we missed you” note for you at home if they attempt to deliver a package and you are not home. 

Please indicate in the comments field in the checkout if you are happy for couriers to leave deliveries for you.


Delivery Timing

Providing ordered items are in stock, orders will generally be dispatched within 24 - 48 hours once payment is cleared in our account. We will contact you if there is any delay due to stock availability. However if you need something more quickly please contact us contactus@littleliving.com.au to organise a faster turnaround. We will always help where ever possible. 

Please be aware that for custom made products these will take longer to make and send out to you so please allow enough time for birthdays and special occasions. We indicate approximate timing on the individual product pages but if you need more information please feel free to get in touch.

The delivery time frame for these items will be estimated in the product description where we are able to. Sometimes we do not know until we receive your order (as for orders of multiple items) but we will always keep you informed and confirm when your parcel has been dispatched and when to expect it, by email. 


Delivery Cost

Your delivery cost is calculated at the checkout as part of your online order. If there is a special postage cost due to the bulk of the item or its weight, you will see this in the product description before you proceed to checkout where possible. 

We are committed to keeping postage costs at a minimum while at the same time ensuring prompt and safe delivery of your item/s. Postage costs are calculated depending on the size and weight of your order. We always select the most cost effective and secure way to send your order. 

Australia wide Express Post delivery is charged as follows:
  • 0-500g - $9.95 Australia Post Express Post 
  • 501g - 3kg $12.95 Australia Post Express Post
  • 3.01kg and over is usually more cost-effective to send via courier which will be calculated depending on your delivery address.



Furniture & Bulky Items
  • A delivery charge for furniture, heavy, bulky or other large parcels is based on the size and cubic weight of the parcel as well as its destination. These items cannot be shipped via express post. 
  • Some heavy or bulky items (generally one piece of furniture) will cost between $30.00 - $75.00 and will generally be delivered via courier; you should always inquire about pricing as delivery also depends on your location. 
  • More than one piece of furniture will cost $30.00+ and you will be advised of the cost to deliver multiple large items - we need to obtain quotes from our courier for most multiple items. In this instance delivery will be charged separately.
  • International Delivery via Australia Post Air Mail
  • We are happy to ship smaller-medium items internationally. All international orders are sent via standard Australia Post Air Mail. For international delivery costs please inquire by email at contactus@littleliving.com.au 
  • Please note on your email if you would like insurance on your order or if you would like receipted delivery (a tracking number and your order must be signed for on delivery).
  • Depending on the delivery address international orders take approximately 6 - 10 business days. We will not cover any loss or damage unless insurance is taken on your order. 
  • Please note: all pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes GST.
  • International orders are exempt from GST and this will be deducted from your order once your delivery address is known.
